Graduation Day

Katie and Liam graduated from kindergarten on Saturday night. This year has been interesting with them and makes me somewhat fear what lies ahead with teaching these two together. I'm just hoping that their competitive nature leads to pushing each other ahead and not getting annoyed with each other.
Alan was elected to hand over the diplomas and give a short speech this year since I handled it last year with Kieran. We must share in the truly fun stuff here. A fun time was had by all. Congrats Liam and Katie.

Company Came

We had some visitors from Virginia earlier this week. They came to see the newest member of the family and spent some time spoiling all the kids. They also brought along a new table for the kids which should make finding space for everyone to work just a tad easier.

A Toad in the Road

I asked Liam to go out and look for eggs for me. He said he couldn't because this little guy was in the basket he uses to collect eggs. I guess the kids found him out in the yard somewhere. So we took a few pictures and set him free. Yes, I made Liam and Kieran quit chasing the poor toad and let it go off on it's own. I have a feeling it won't be long before they catch another one anyway.

Caught a Smile

I told you the little dude has been smiling. But this was caught by his brother's camera since it is much snazzier than the one owned by his parents. So Bryan has been taking tons of pictures and I've been snatching them to share.
And one more just to show that we aren't all smiles and grins around here. Man, it is tough work being the youngest in a crazy crew like this one. Just way too much pressure to look cute all the time.

How to Quiet the Singing Toddler

We have finally discovered the secret to keeping this mischievous tyke quiet in church. Have someone else hold him. Twice now he has been held in church by someone other than Mom and Dad. Both times he has fallen blissfully asleep and slept all the way through Mass. Now to find a way to pack a third adult into the diaper bag to pull out during Mass when he starts to "sing" for us.

He's Growing

Robert has officially hit the 9 lb mark which means we can relax a little bit. Yes, the picture is a tad weird focus wise but you can catch the tale end of a smile in the photo. He is trying to smile more but can't seem to catch them on camera because my camera is rather slow. This picture was taken by his brother.
