Meal Plan

The meal plan is truly a helpful tool for not only keeping organized but also for keeping things in budget. It's also been very helpful for keeping other folks in the family aware of what they should make for meals when I'm not around to tell them.

Our side of beef will be delivered tomorrow so we can finally start putting beef back into the plan again.  Right now we have only a rib roast, a pound of stew meat, and a pound of sandwich steaks left. With a family our size, that really does not give us much to work with. But with beef prices set to rise significantly over the next few months, I am very happy to know that our freezers will be full for the year at lower prices.

M: bagels and fruit (B), grilled cheese (L), leftovers and/or FFY
T: eggs and toast (B), leftovers (L), pepperoni pizza pasta and zucchini (D)
W: Sean's birthday so I need to check with him
T: breakfast casserole (B), leftovers (L), alphabet soup and 1 hr rolls (D)
F: waffles and fruit (B), tuna sandwiches (L), mac and cheese with broccoli (D)
